Payment settled for two coal shipments; unloading process begins: CEBEU
The Energy and Power Ministry had managed to settle the payments for the two ships that had freighted coal and anchored off the coast of Norochcholai, the Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers Union (CEBEU) today said.
The government has reportedly taken over the handling of the diplomatic issue regarding the Yuan Wang 5 ship directly through the Chinese Embassy in Colombo instead of going through the Sri Lankan mission in Beijing, Daily Mirror learns.
