IMF says any loan to Sri Lanka requires debt sustainability

The International Monetary Fund said discussions with Sri Lanka on a potential IMF loan program are at an early stage and any deal would require ’’adequate assurances’’ that the island country’s debts can be put on a sustainable path.

Qatar Police interrogate main suspect - CID informs court

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today informed the Colombo Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake through a B-report that Qatari police is interrogating the main suspect of the terrorist network in Sri Lanka which had maintained direct relations with the ISIS.
