Lawsuits claiming compensations over Easter Sunday attacks: Maithri files appeal

Former President Maithripala Sirisena has filed an appeal petition at Colombo Civil Appellate High Court challenging the District Court’s decision to reject his request that he be discharged from several civil lawsuits filed by the victims of Easter Sunday attacks.
