Removed Agriculture Secretary says he stands by his statement on food shortage

While saying that he is not aware of the exact reason for his removal as the Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture, Prof. Uditha K. Jayasinghe affirmed that he still stands by his previous comments with regards to an imminent food shortage in the country.
