AstraZeneca arrives in Sri Lanka, vaccines to be rolled out from tomorrow
The much awaited stock of 728,460 doses of the Astra Zeneca vaccines arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport a short while ago from Japan through the WHO’s Covax facility.
The government has reportedly taken over the handling of the diplomatic issue regarding the Yuan Wang 5 ship directly through the Chinese Embassy in Colombo instead of going through the Sri Lankan mission in Beijing, Daily Mirror learns.
