Daily 1-hour power cuts for four days

A one hour daily power cut came into effect today for four days because of the breakdown in the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant (NCPP) yesterday, Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) General Manager Vijitha Herath said.

Qatar Police interrogate main suspect - CID informs court

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today informed the Colombo Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake through a B-report that Qatari police is interrogating the main suspect of the terrorist network in Sri Lanka which had maintained direct relations with the ISIS.
