20A to be tabled in House by mid next month: Justice Minister

Moves are underway to drafted new proposals to abolish the 19th Amendment to the Constitution and replace it with the 20th Amendment which is to be tabled in Parliament by mid-September, Justice Minister Ali Sabry said.

Qatar Police interrogate main suspect - CID informs court

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today informed the Colombo Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake through a B-report that Qatari police is interrogating the main suspect of the terrorist network in Sri Lanka which had maintained direct relations with the ISIS.
