No decision should be taken outside the Constitution: Maha Sangha
Stating that the country should not be put in jeopardy by reconvening the old Parliament, Maha Sangha had said no decision should be taken outside the Constitution, the President’s Media Division said.
MP Lakshman Kiriella said the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has informed the Nilames and organizers of the Kandy Esala Perahera to deposit a sum of Rs. 13 million in order to supply an uninterrupted power supply for the festival.
