The Government, which lifted the ban on civilian drones, yesterday, is to introduce new regulations on drone operations, which was banned in the aftermath of the Easter Sunday attack in mid-April, last year, defence.lk said.
MP Lakshman Kiriella said the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has informed the Nilames and organizers of the Kandy Esala Perahera to deposit a sum of Rs. 13 million in order to supply an uninterrupted power supply for the festival.
