2019 වසරේ පැවති බටහිර ආසියානු බේස්බෝල් කුසලාන තරගාවලියේ ශූරතාවය හිමිවුණේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා කණ්ඩායමට යි. එහිදී ලෝක ශ්‍රේණිගත කිරීම්වල ඉහළින් සිටි පාකිස්ථානය, පහළින් සිටි ශ්‍රී ලංකාව අතින් පරාජයට පත්වුණා.
