Mohamed Naushad Jalaldeen, the 42-year old senior indexing officer attached to the Hansard Department of Parliament, was brought to parliament for investigations today.
MP Lakshman Kiriella said the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has informed the Nilames and organizers of the Kandy Esala Perahera to deposit a sum of Rs. 13 million in order to supply an uninterrupted power supply for the festival.
